What heat sink are you using that sounds heat related.

If you can get to bios go to the hardware moniter andcheck cpu temp, let system stay in bios a few minutes as this will heat cpu up.

I would also check the voltage. The Athlon needs 1.75v of power to operate normally, the Duron needs 1.5v. If it is a P4, the same 1.75v applies.
Also, do check the heatsink, make sure that the fan is rotating properly. You can tell just by looking at the fan, if you can see the blades turning 1x1 at a slow speed or the fan doesn't turn, thats not good, if you can't see the blades turning, thats good. Simplist way to put it.

Check your video card... my GeForce2 GTS can cook eggs, and I had alot of trouble when initally o/cing my processor. I also used to get screen freezes all the time with my Voodoo3.

This definately sounds like a cooling problem, and the video card should not be forgotten about when cooling a rig.

well i have a 300w power supplay and my vio voltage was 3.3 and stuck so i uped it again to 3.45 but still stucks
my vcore voltage is 1.75
i dont think its a heat prob because i have wbk-38
whatv else can it be

not sure if this is an viable option but you might trying using sisandra to bench parts of your system and if it locks up then you can atleast know which component is having issues

well thank you guyes
the problem was the psu.
i got another one and now it just works great stable
and runnig
i also switched the vio voltage to 3.3 just to be safe
also changed my multiplier to 10x133 insted of 12.5x100 and now i have more power and still stable
runs a little hot though cpu 57c idle 60 full load
mb 37c idle
but a small price to pay for stability
again thanks guys
