While the G5 is the latest and greatest, the brilliant engineers at Logitech did away with one of the left side thumb buttons on the G5. I have grown used to two side buttons for gaming.

I don't use them for gaming, but for browsing the internet I love those buttons. I couldn't live without them. I don't think it's worth getting an MX518 to replace my current MX510 though...good deal nonetheless.
