I was thinking about getting a pair of these

does anyone have some and can give me a personal reveiew or recomendations for other speakers if any

thanks

Those are some sweet looking speakers with some watts. but for $265 lil high

Im going to get the Z640 , they dont have the power but my cheap @30 4:1 with 20watt per channel can blast my basement so i think the 640's will blast more

z-680's i have heard are a lot better than the z-640 and i mean A LOT! more than double the wattage. my friend has these and he tells me that they are very nice and worth the money. i currently own the z-640's and just rmaed them, (sub is rattling) and i personally think its the low end logitech speakers that are making that happen (the rattling) and the problem presists i might goto klipsch speakers.

I have owned both the Z-640's and the Z-680's. I must say, they beat the **** out of my 600watt Home theatre system. I just bought mine about a month ago, for $199 @ Circuit City. I would have to say it was the best $199 I have spent in a while. Go for it, you won't regret it.

I'v got the z640s and recently bought the z680s. Both are great speaker systems for the price (especially the 640s). I got the z680s for under $250 shipped from provantage.com and they literally shake the house at 3/4 volume. The features of the z680s are what make these speakers really shine - 4 simultaneous inputs (2 digital), control pod, Dolby Digital/DTS decoding, wireless remote control. I can't wait to start watching some DVDs with them.

The Z-680 speakers are truly amazing. The sub will shake the house, the control pod glows blue for easy night time tuning, you have three inputs allowing use for TV, DVD's, X-Box, or your Computer :)

All of my friends also comment on how amazing and how powerful that these speakers are when ever we watch LotR. One time during one scene when a horse goes across screen my friend thought my dog ran across the ground, amazing quality. Just amazing speakers, well worth the price

I would get hte Klipsch Promedia ultras if I were in the market for speakers again. I hav the 680s little brothers, the 560s. They are the exact same speakers as the 680's minus the center channel and DD encoding. These speakers are great for the price, but the quality of them are average. I really dont like the highs on these speakers, they sound muffled out and are no where near the ultras speakers. The sub in the ULTRA will blow the 680's away also b/c its so much more balanced and smooth. The logitech DOES have a lot of power, but its not nearly as detailed and smooth as the klipsch ones. I know the ultras cost more, but trust me, they're so worth it for pc speakers. Im gonna buy a pair later on this year heh.
