looking for a decent wireless adapter

i'm looking for a wireless adapter for a computer that will be in a different room from the router so wired isn't an option. also i'm living in an apartment for now so punching holes in the wall isn't an option either. would like something that uses 5ghz since there are a ton of people around me using 2.5ghz.

thanks. looks like it will do the job. the extension cable is nice since the adapter won't be buried behind the computer near the floor where it sits now.

I have the Asus USB(3) AC(1300)-56. You can plug it directly to the back panel or use the supplied ext. module. Has drivers for every OS though I've only used it in windows. ~$60 on newegg. Haven't used it lately.
