Well topic says.

(please read)

requirements
1. good graphic
Realistic enviroment, land scope, buildings, objects, etc. beautiful character/item designs.
I guess pretty much everyone knows the standard of what is good envireoment etc. graphic, but as for character/item/objects desigin which is an equally important fact to me...

example of the graphic I am pleased with: Lineage 2 & Silkroad Online.

example of the games I am not impressed with their graphics
a. EQ2 (I can live with it but still...)
ok it has advanced graphic engine which probably is more advanced than Lineage 2...which shows in the water effect. But the objects/characters design are so not realistic and not good looking at all. Just compare the trees, buildings, and elf in both game, you'll see what I mean.
b. WOW
Too cartoonish to be realistic.
c. Flyff
Too cartoonish + childish to even talk about. Exit the game after first 5 min. trying.
d. Ferentus
The real in game grahpic is next to horrible, same with character motions.
e. MatialHeros
Ugly graphic.

2. Huge world
Huge in size, lots of places to go, next to impossible to remember where is where.

3. Fun game play
a. interesting leveling/pve(fighting npc) which I will explain in more details shortly

b. enable pvp. If a game isn't pvp enabled, it's next to unrealistic. What kind of world you can't hit the stuff you want to hit? I am not a pvp nuts, but I want it to be available.

I have been playing Lineage 2 for the past 1.5 years, and I start to feel tired of it, since it's really 95% leveling (which is mindless killing the same monsters over and over on the same spots), with 1% shopping through 13532534523523 afk shops at town, 3% chatting, 1% pvp(yep pvp is fun specially the castle siege with 31253253253 players on both sides try to take over/defend a castle, but all the deaths in pvp cause xp loss and each death which require more mindless killing mobs to make it back.(example 1 death at max lvl can cause 4 hours experience loss if you don't get a high % rez). So can't help it with more than 1% pvp, any more will obiviously make you delvl and at disadvantage in future pvp). And the 95% lvling is really bad in such games. I really don't mind fun lvling, but in fact it seems the lvling in all mmo I have seen so far are mindless killing on the SAME spot for hours EVERY day(there is no place to keep going, lvling spots for the same lvl range is limited, mobs respawn in less than 1 min.) Which is Boring. Played Silkroad Online too, the part of pvp is fun, but exactly the same type which requires mindless killing on the same spot type of leveling up for 95%+ time to back it up.

If anyone have played Never WinterNights multipleplay, specially if you have played on the server called Aventia, you would know lvling/pve(killing monsters) can be really fun too. The type of killing monsters on Aventia is like dungeon style, or trips/advantures whatever you call it. Basicly you go on trips that is one way through, NEVER stop on the same spot/room camp for the same mobs(can't even if you want to, respawn time for mobs are 15 min., 30 min. for boss), always keep going. Most trips are anywhere from 1~3 hours each, the longest one takes 3 days. There is always a final boss at the end of the trip which provide greater challenge and good loot, or sometimes with some lesser bosses on the way if the trip is long. Of course there are hundreds regular npc guards on the way, each kill of you makes you one step closer to the final boss/ or end of the trip. And there are hundreds different trips/advantures/dungeons on Aventia. So we always have new places to go, see different things, fight different monsters, get different loot. Never get bored of going out to hunt. (and yes I know NWN is not a mm, but regular rpg. Aventia had 72 slots).

Bottomline, the type of lvling on the NWN server of Aventia is what I really like. I am tired of the mmo games' camping same spot/room for hours every day mindlessly killing the same mobs over and over style of lvling.

Basicly for game play, pve wise only NeverWinter Nights pleased me(it is server depended, and the server Aventia is one good example). PvP wise only castle siege of Lineage 2, and trade/thief/bounty hunter system of Silkroad Online please me. Yet NWN has next to none exist pvp, L2 & SRO have amazingly terrible + boring pve.

I like the graphic of Lineage 2 and Silkroad Online. Which is a very important fact for me. I do not like crappy graphics, nor non realistc nor ugly objects/characters/items.

Above are just BASIC requirements of what I want, there are other things I would love to have but I still can live without other things so far, besides these "other" things might be too much for the current video games to have lol...you might say "you wish" if I list them too. :)

So any game out there or will be out fits my describition?

hmm, well.

I've found WoW to be a rather satisfying MMO. All I have to compare it to is Everquest and it blows EQ out of the water. The quests are worthwhile and they lead you on a nice progression through the world. Also PvP is supposed to be excellent but I'm not there yet.

Based on what you said you will just have to wait. Played just about everything out there and nothing really fits your bill. I am playin WoW currently and love the non-realistic look. Reality is so over rated. I mean you see it EVERY DAY.

nothing out there atm really is a good match for what you stated in your post...

but there is this game which will be released in february which fits the bill completely. you can also apply for the beta now.

Could play my favorite (plus its free) Guild Wars. I dont think you will have a problem with the grafix:

Plus its Christmas time across Tyria lol.

He wont like it because of the PVE...Guild Wars IS all about the PvP, its agreat game but if exploring and nerding out in all day hunts is your idea of fun GW is not for you. The PvP does has greatreplay value though and actually requires skill to be successful.

I like the PVE alot its very well done. Have you ever played this game before? And PVE wise its not a short game. There have been many times where Ive spent close to 6 hours in The Fissure Of Woe or the Underworld

For one thing I like exploring lol. How big is the world? L2 world was "big" at the beginning, getting smaller every day. And in fact we can run from one side of the world to the other in less than 1 hour with elf speed...I perfer days, weeks, months straight walking still can't go through the entire world. :p Tried WOW today, not my type at all. But it got a tiny bit things I wanted but not exist in L2 etc, which is complex buildings. I like to walk through buildings to buildings in town, go from room to room. :) Don't ask why. Other than that, WOW has pretty much same type of mindless killing style of lvling imo which is what I am tired of already. Besides WOW's graphic really sucks. The theme movie has pretty good design of characters, unfortunely the real in game characters are no where look close to that.

As for Nathan, L2's pve is one of the worst possible available. The only thing kept me going was that I wanted to be strong and cool...what waste of time now I think about it. Killing the same mobs on the exactly same spots over and over, respawn, kill, respawn, kill, respawn, kill...repeat for hours every day... Horrible grinding.

RF Online looks like it's going to be nice. Two months away.

yeah it does. i've been praying for beta invite but one hasn't come yet. i believe they are in phase one still so i should chill out.

RF Online looks to be a copy of L2, and I think it is. yet it has inferior designs on characters etc. though they try to make it "as good" as L2 while try to not be exactly the same. As for game play, I bet it's the same as all Korean mmo. Grinding grinding grinding on the SAME spot, will be 95% of the game play, with a little pvp.

So I am not going to drop one game for another little inferior one with similar game play.

Don't get me wrong, I'd live with a little inferior graphic if the game play is great. Nothing shows RF Online will be any different than the rest of the mindless grinding korean MMO.

Ive only logged about 756 hours in the game, completed the PVE 3 times completly, and Ive unlocked all skills and Im rank 3. So yeah Ive played a little.

If you like sci fi I'd reccomend eve online. It's a pvp based and looks great. Theres very little in the way of pve or quests. Everything is based on player interaction. Even the economy is 100% player run. You're basicly dropped into a huge universe and left to do what ever you want. Mine, trade, declare wars on people, become a pirate it's completly open ended.

The only problem is it's addictive and the mrs will get jelous. It's made me sleep on the couch a couple times.

I don't like sci fi, nor modern day...when it comes to rpg games. What I like is ancient time with warriors, wizards, elves, orcs, dwarves, humans etc.

And like I said, I perfer exploring/advanture/trip style of leveling. Walk through new places while fighting npcs for leveling. So far all the MMO I have seen have camping/grinding style of boring leveling, include L2, SRO, WOW, EQ2, they might be a little different, but more or less the same, and I hate boring quests.

So does Guild War have the type of the pve I want? It might not seem as good as L2 and SRO in graphic, but if the pve is interesting then I can take it.

Have you looked into dark age of camelot? I thought the pvp and pve with that game were excellent, and apparently they just made trials of atlantis much easier which would make the entire game more enjoyable. It's tempting to go back :(

Guikld wars isn't really a true mmo. It's an arcade style pvp game with a fairly weak multi player rpg strapped onto it.

I played it for about a weak before i got bored and uninstalled it.
