Looking for a top end sound card pls help

so far 2 choices are hercules game theatre xp or sb live plat 5.1 help me pls if you know of any other or if anybody has a hercules game theatre xp and how it sounds

but for alot cheep you coulg grab the xgamer 5.1 or mp3 5.1

i dont reallt that the plat is reallt worth the price inless you have some f*cking amazing speakers

Agreed. Unless you're going thru some amazing Kentwoods (for example) or pumping it thru your sterio system, then don't go for the plat card. Even if you're pumping it through a set of $35 Altec speakers you won't notice the difference.
