Picked up the BFG 6800 U from the outpost deal. I'm currently running an Enermax 460 W PSU. I have a Raidmax Scorpio 868 Mid Tower with 2 rear exhaust fans, 1 PCI Fan under the 6800 U, 1 Side Intake Fan, and 2 Front Intake fans. CPU is an Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.2ghz. I'm running a WD raptor along with 2 IDE drives and an Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro soundcard. Needless to say my case is packed.

My 6800 U runs stable at 433/1250, with a 3dmark03 score of 12980-13050 with an idle temp of 56ish to 75-80 under full load. I'm worried that these temps are too high, but I really don't have any idea how to better cool the current case I'm using. I don't really want to install an nv5 silencer.

My real question is, when I up my clock speeds to anything over 450 core / 1250 memory my temperature goes up a few degrees, however my system becomes really unstable and 3dmark03 cannot complete before crashing. Does this sound like a power problem? Can any of you OC your Ultras to these speeds with a less than 500 W PSU ?

I've also looked into buying a full tower case, but really don't know if that is the best solution or not.
