looking for recomendations on software to scan a bunch of old photos?

I am looking for recomendations on software to scan a bunch of old photos as quickly and painlessly as possible. something that would let me scan multiple photos at once with the all-in-one printer/scanner/copier that i already own (hp officejet 4620). free would be good, but i am not opposed to buying a good piece of software.

Have you tried the HP software suite that is available for the printer? Here is the latest version with WinTen support. Or are you wanting to accomplish something else?
