Looking for those familiar with MSI i815e 6337 mobo, I got questions about oclocking

Hello,

I have the MSI i815e 6337 Lite mobo. I really like it but have been having some challenges with overclocking my processor, a PIII-700 that ran at 875 on my BE6-II mobo.

I installed Fuzzy Logic II software that is an auto overclock utility prog, when I select the "auto" function it adjusts the cpu to the highest speed using default voltage however I can't figure out how to save the settings. When I try to do it manually the system locks up and I get an alarm going off when I exit bios and reboot.

The board uses half agp divider and it also shows you what your pci speed is as you increase the buss speed. I am stumped as how you go about overclocking the cpu manually in the bios.

Don't use the fuzzy Logic program to O/C. It sucks, but if you still want to use it... just set it to automatically increase the FSB until the whole system hang. Wait a while and the system will reboot automatically to the normal speed. Go to FL again and you should see a turbo option, click it and FL will set your CPU speed to the highest stable OC speed.

Hereandgone, I and others, I'm sure would be interested in your results and experience with this board. Please post a follow-up. Whwt kind of HSF is installed?
