Don't give up yet. Did the board come with the latest bios or did you update it? If you updated, what bios did it come with?

I recommend rolling back to the 0515 bios and see what happens.

Well if that's the case then RMA it is, but in the review i posted it OCed to 42 and 46 easy and it shows the settings. But to use the Multi you still have to Disable what i said to you in the video and my PM as well. AJ.

87 For your INFO my friend i counted correction 7 Bios up dates with stability on everyone!

He said he tried disabling the core multi enhancement. And BTW you can have that enabled to overclock anyway for your INFO.

He also only said he tried reflashing the latest bios, that kinda sounds like it was already running the latest. Sometimes flashing to an older bios can indeed fix something.

Below the multicore enhancement, there should be a ''Turbo Ratio'' option that he doesn't have according to his screenshots. So something is wrong, and he needs to flash to a different bios.

OK so you give up, stop posting then I'll continue to try and help him.

Pretty sure the warranty is more than 1 month lol.

i still think to flash to an older bios cuz sometimes the newest takes off oc options or scews stuff up

thats the last one it will let me roll too. there wasnt any change. same ol set up just different number

im not sure which one it came with

So what happens exactly when you try to change the value?

i type in lets say 40 and press enter .it reverts back to w/e it was before under 34 so like 34. or if i use +- it simply doesnt exceed 34 just goes down

maybe this has something to do with it? it says 7 series? anything look crazy here?

Stupid Asus boards, they won't let you flash to an older bios. *sigh* I forgot about that.

Did you buy the board from newegg? I really suggest returning it as faulty and getting your money back, and then ordering a different board. ASRock makes nice Z77 boards, I had a Z77 Extreme4 and loved it.

also wanted to point out whenever i change the bios version it auto sets my base clock to 103 .very strange

Well since you agree to RMA the Mobo i went away and checked out every single board in that range just to double check. By looking at the BIOS in YouTube they are all exactly the same, but his board for some reason is totally different in the UEFI Bios to them? The main features in his board in AI Tweaker are diffrerent against the rest of the P8Z77 range! :( :-/

Well Omniscience sorry it has ended like this, but please come back and we will try again soon. AJ.

yeah no kidding. i contacted asus and there treating me like a tard .i bought it through newegg thank god. im still going to fiddle around until a) rma is ready or b) problem is solved.

Yes you are missing the turbo ratio option. Since you can't revert back to an older bios to see if it fixes it, the newegg RMA is your only option.

I would go with the ASrock Z77 extreme4, was a very good board for me.

just a smal update. i realized my board shipped with both the EPU and TPU switches set to "on" with two red leds on. i since turned them both off with no leds on. hasnt changed anything. but thought i should mention it out of desperation

I understand you've already set up an RMA, but did you ever try reverting to an older BIOS revision?

id still like to try to figure out the problem for all those people googling with the same problem

yeah i tried every revision on the list.nothing changes.not even the lay out. what are the chances it could be the cpu? kinda makes sense with the only 4 gigs of memory showing up on my comp when i have 8 installed since the cpu has the IMC.i think lol
