mac basher has Ipod question....

well I'm the first to admit that i'm a mac basher, I don't really care for them, however, I've got a chance to pick up an older 5gb Ipod for like $150.... I know the new ipods work w/ pc's, but does anybody know if the old ones can be made to work w/ a pc?

yeah, i believe so. google around. there are some ipod hackers out there who made this possible awhile ago.

no reason to be ashamed of the iPod. it rocks, aside from the price

A company came out with a piece of software a while back that allowed you to interface with the older iPods with your PC. Not sure how much it costs though. If I remember, it was $20 or something.

Someone here in the forums re-formatted a Mac ipod to fat32, you might do a search and find out who he is, and how he went about doing it.
