Machine ID# conflicts!!

got some of myf riends to start folding under my name... but only lets them do machine id from 1-4... and those are all taken up, how od i get more machine id numbers?

machine ids are used for running more than one client on a single machine. For example, if I wanted to run two clients on my computer, then I would have to set up one client using machine ID 1 and the other using machine ID 2. If I had two separate machines, then they would both fold using machine ID 1.
in other words, you dont need more machine id numbers.

The machine ID is only used to identify multiple clients on a single computer. You don't need to worry about it on seperate machines, so just leave it at the deafault 1.

Example, you are running 2 clients on a dual, one would be machine ID 1, the other machine ID 2.
