I wanted to post this in General Discussion or a better related category but I do not have enough posts to do so... Anyway:

Hello, maybe someone who knows could help me... Okay here is the deal:
I have bought two routers (both SMC's) and 2 hard drives (both Western Digital) and the fine print states basically the same thing. Note that the two SMC products are DIFFERENT (one wireless, one wired) and the two Western Digital products are also DIFFERENT (one 80gig drive and one 160gig drive). Now here are the lines that have caught my eye, it goes like so:
"Offer is limited to one rebate per name/customer/address"
and
"Limit 1 rebate per offer for each customer, person, receipt, household, address or family"

Now does this mean I can only get a mail in rebate for one of each? (ie. 1 WD rebate and 1 SMC) or can i still get the rebates for both of each? (2 WD and 2 SMC). If anyone could let me know it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hummm I think it means you can only have 1 SMC and 1 WD. But you can always do it under the name and adress of another member in your family(grand-mother or something like that).

It clearly says you can't do that ;)

Look at the rebate offer number. IF they are the same then you need a different address. If they are different then they are different rebates.

I will most likely guess the WD are different due to the size difference.

SMC sucks *** I never got my rebates from them. I bet you bought your router at a Circuit City huh.

uh oh.. that is not what i want to hear... i got one smc router from london drugs, the other from a local computer shop in BC (NCIX - Netlink computers)... i hope they give me the rebates... i would return the one i got from london drugs but i already cut out the upc from the box :/

What about a neighbor?

Offer them $10 or something (like cutting their grass or washing their car) for the hassle.

Nothing wrong with that

I phoned both companies and both will be ok... with SMC I can do the same name, address etc. and with Western Digital I can do the same address but need to give my dad's name or someone else in the house... weird eh? Anywho, both will be ok.. thanks for all the replies.
