I have an A7V which I am not using and won't for several months. Should I remove the CMOS battery during this time?
Would that harm the EPROM chip.
I used to know these things but memory escapes me now!!

It wont hurt it with the battery in. If it makes you feel better, take it out.

Either way should be fine, just make sure to put it in some anti static and in a sturdy box (which is why I always save my Anti Static bags and mobo boxes).
