MAJOR SOCKET 7 PROBLEM

i have a P233 on a socket 7 board...i cannot get the video card to sync. I know all the components are good because they will work on a different MoBo. The CPU gets hot when I turn the power on, so I know it is getting power. However, I do not get any beep codes...Yes, the speaker is hooked up.

I have built several systems and this one really has me stumped.

any help would be appreciated

when i wass building my p166@200 system(then a cirex 686mx 150@187) and it turend out that the cpu was bad. just my 2cence

Unseat and reseat all of the cards and memory. With older systems if a card has a bad connection, the lights will come on but nothing else will happen.
