Making a new promotional folding contest launch video need some help!

first of all, have you seen the last one I did?

This one is going to be even more awesome. But i'm looking for some pretty graphics for this one.


Here's how it's gonna go down

*SCENE 1. Video starts out with one of the submitted overclockers logo's to the recent overclockers logo contest. (with permission from artist of course).
Logo will have background ticking noise (like that of a clock) the ticking noise gets faster and faster and more and more ticking noises ticking faster and faster until the logo starts to fade and all the ticking noises will fade with it.

*SCENE 2. Will show random clips of live on the scene weather reporters saying stuff like "offically the end of summer", "the approaching cold front...", "the last summer day for a long while", "fall is finally here", etc.... (whatever clips I can find that convey it's getting cold outside).

While this scene is playing out i want it to appear as if the camera lens is slowly freezing over and making little ice crackling noises, until it freezes over completely. The sound from the weather reporter news clips will appear to get muffled until totally silent.

*SCENE 3. background noise of footsteps then a computer turning on, then another, and another, iced over camera lens melts revealing OC Folding team logo.

*SCENE 4. QUEUE SOUNDTRACK:

Video clips of pretty PS3 folding graphics flashing back and forth between random action shots of systems turning on and command line clients getting started up.

*SCENE 5. boast about the huge and inevitable OC comeback

*SCENE 6. announce new contest and show off prizes

*SCENE 7. go into details about contest a little bit

*SCENE 8. nice flashy finish...

Things I need from you guys...

*Short 5 second video clip of your PC turning on, computers don't really have alot of moving parts, maybe show the actual screen as it's booting, or focus on fans (especially if they are LED fans).

*the freezing and melting camera lens effect, I have no clue how to do that or integrate it into a video.

*pics of your latest folding rigs. (I may start a separate thread on this one).

*video of PS3 folding graphics

*audio of footsteps + 3 or 4 computers powering on 1 at a time.

Essentially I have this weekend and next weekend to pull it off. If you are unable to help out, Please point me in the right direction. 3rd place depends on action and motivation, we need a sweet vid to psych ourselves up and draw others in.

I could put my blackberry on record and let it record the hummm of my computer room... however, I don't think it would be distinguishable from any other random whir-ing sound.

This promo vid is an awesome idea OZZLO. I can take a vid tonight but it won't be very good quality because I don't have a video recorder. I'll try and get some light in my room so everything is distinguishable.
