Mandrake = higher OC

Mandrake got me a higher overclock, 160 FSB which I was never able to achieve with XP Pro. Anyone else OC with Linux? Are there benchmarking apps for linux? How about a cpuid app?

cat /proc/cpuinfo

to get info on your cpu. There's lots of benchmarking apps, like, say, quake3 or rc5 or x11perf (or something like that, I might have the name wrong) or glxgears.
