DSOT is CLASSIC. Well before my time, but one of the greatest of ALL time!

P.S. I like Animals, too - the album, not the critters. Not so much a dog person after my GSD decided to eat my couch last week. Grrrrrr...

I'll start this month off :)

-- I'm having a problem with scaling this on 2x GTX-780Ti Classified's :-( Either the score is ~ the same as single card or lower  The other problem is during the bench - My FPS jumps/bounces from ~ 40 - 170. This bouncing happens in both single and dual card config :screwy:

My first attempt.... getting all these windows lined up well to take a decent screenshot is kinda hard, lol.

Ohh interesting, another 3090 banger! This one has been on my list to check out for a while now. There are three benchmark GUI versions, and they all do different things to the score. I know the 1.0.1 is the high-scoring physics version, but potentially low GT scores. I think the safest option is 1.0.179 but if someone is willing to put in the time testing the different bench editions it might be worth it...

It looks like if you are using extreme cooling, then 10900K (no-microcode hax bios) will be the best move due to GT scaling from high CPU clocks. However, if you are on ambient cooling then 5950X is the best bet with W7 and no SMT. The crazy part is 5950x on AIO scores about the same as 6.8G 10900K LN2, lol, but Intel wins in that case with huge GT gains.

And yea...the wallpaper is awesome!

I just got a new Lian Li Strimer RGB cable in last night, so I'm sure that'll be worth a few thousand extra points. Can't wait to try it out! :D

^ Thank YOU <- I have been beating myself on why I can't get the same PT score that I was getting with a OCed i7-5960x @4.8GHz...
Here is a run with a GTX-1080 & i7-5960x - PT score = 72.36 10/22/2018 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/12975123
Or better
Here is a run with a HD-6870 & i7-8700k - PT score = 53.46 01/21/2019 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/13125997

My current sub - GTX-780Ti & i9-9900kf - PT score = 48.66 02/02/2021

Where to pick up the different versions?? How to keep steam from auto updating it to current ver??

Thank You :)

Last part is simple M_M don't use steam. 3D11 is downloadable from multiple sources as a standalone without the steam nonsense. I have a flash drive that I use for all my benchmarks and benching software. Always good to go and no need for a connection.

I'll put that on my list :) I started last month - re-inventorying my collection of video cards. Now that I have a GPU AIO (NZXT Kraken G12), I can retest the ones without a heat sink. This gives me an opportunity to test and compete with both NVidia & ATI/AMD.
I looked for Ver 1.0.1 but was unable to find a proper DL site. I also noticed that a Version 1.0.2/1.0.3/1.0.4 where listed but also with no proper DL site. I found and old version 1.0.132 on a USB drive :) IIRC -> 3D Mark.com will only give current versions.
I also found possible evidence that these older versions are no longer allowed for submissions??

Here is everything I have for 3D11. The file is about 1GB so it probably won't stay on my google drive for long...get it while it's hot :D

I put my system on water and set the rig outside to see what gains I could get. The card scaled nicely, but the CPU didn't even gain +25 MHz compared to AIO...crazy AMD walls

I WILL BE BACK !!!! -> I now have had to retire 2 Corsair H100's (<- Died ) since the New Year :-( I'm not mad as they have given ~ 5 years each :) I have a new EVGA 360 inbound SO I will continue my testing next week.. Until then, Here is my last successful 3D Mark 11 Run

First run, bone stock. That's a nice jump from the overclocked GTX 970!
