Ran a couple more since I had AMD going on this bench. And yes that's a FURY with unlocked shaders

Pulling up the REAR  I have the GTX-780Ti KPE
It's almost a crime to only be benching them on AIR
But LET US Lay Back and Enjoy The Show  <-

  https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=everybody+was+kung+fu+fighting
Everybody was kung-fu fighting
Those kicks were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening
But they fought with expert timing
They were funky China men from funky Chinatown
They were chopping them up and they were chopping them down
It's an ancient Chinese art and everybody knew their part
From a feint into a slip, and kicking from the hip
Everybody was kung-fu fighting
Those kicks were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening
But they fought with expert timing
There was funky Billy Chin and little Sammy Chung
He said here comes the big boss, let's get it on
We took a bow and made a stand, started swinging with the hand
The sudden motion made me skip now we're into a brand knew trip
Everybody was kung-fu fighting
Those kicks were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening
But they did it with expert timing

REALLY......REALLY.....YOU HAD TO GO THERE

^ It wasn't me :chair:

Just a reminder boss :) A update is needed to help my over-all score
Freeagent scored a 4022.66 with a EVGA GTX-980 Classified.
MaddMutt scored a 4138.454 with a EVGA GTX-980 KPE. <-Page 6 post #102->

Freeagent was already up there but I did mistake yours for the same card. Not to sound negative M_M but maybe spend some time optimizing these score, quantity over quality isn't the best route especially if you're submitting these to the bot. Take the 290X CF for instance, the cards I have won't really OC and I took your score by over 1000 pts. I think you're missing some low hanging fruit here.

I'm not submitting these to the bot..just for fun here :) Dusting off some cards that still have fans on them. The others are all prepped for cold benching. These will take just a little longer to prepare for my benching rig. I have it setup (i7-8700k de-lidded) to run cold or water :) With the temps down here jumping from a high of 70f on one day and 40f two days later, is not helping :( I was hoping to take advantage of the cold this year (free) for benching :) As I said before, I'm having a Gooood month. I'm also celebrating (I still have cravings) 2 years smoke free :)

I get it, you're just playing around but sometimes an extra 30 minutes and you can actually get somewhere at the BOT without going cold and when you do go cold M_M freeze the CPU with those old cards you'll get more points running the old benchmarks using a faster CPU. I scored a ton doing that last month.
But case in point, I ran the Ulocked Fury and with a little effort have come within spitting distance of first place. If I spent some time optimizing he driver for this card I'm sure I could bet him and that's all on ambient cooling.

Is there an Overclockers team that I should put on HWBot? I don't remember how I can submit my scores.

This was where I was looking to go before I got side tracked :) Hoping to improve my score by having a better CPU :)

This was why I'm on the fence about swapping my older 3x SLI/CF & 4x SLI/CF x99/i7-5960x benching setup.
Should I swap out my i7-5960x for a i7-6950x or get newer.
This would be a x299 and a i9-7900x or i9-9820x.

9900k will kick that 5960 right in the pants even cold you'll go a lot further, just bench the 5960 for 2D it's not going to compete with 9900k in 3D anymore 7 GHz compared to 5.5 when cold 5.5 is easy with the 9900k on a cold night.

Yea I agree the 9900K can be really nice if you can find the sweet spot. All my production application works fast and perfect compare to my other cpus I had. I did have Threadripper 1920X which I still love, 2700X which for the money is a killer and the 9900K which by far Have a really solid combination giving me access to Windows 10, macOS, and Linux. ;)

^IIRC Intel is releasing/or has released a i9-9900k without the iGPU working. I would take this as a attempt to allow the CPU to turbo higher/or stay at higher freq longer. Even if AMD get's a CPU out that can hit 5 GHz, it will still need legs.

I would think the only different is having a build in gpu versus not having one and maybe a little bit of temp not much to say is a huge difference unless they change something else.

It's disabled when not in use anyway... I doubt it will even save that?

True true, I use mine under macOS because is yet to be supported pass 50-75% of the current drivers that allow acceleration. I have to have iGPU in order to make that work or to detect my Radeon VII. I guess later on should be natively support for the card which is why I am glad I have a CPU that has build in GPU but performances really good either way. ;)
