I have a Leadtek GF3 Ti200 that has built in hardware monitoring, I wasnted to know if anyone knew what the max temps should be for the GPU?? It has the ability to show surface and edge temps of the GPU. Any ideas on the max. temp???

Thanks,

I believe around 50C is where you run into stability issues. What are you're temps? I've got a probe wedged right up next to my Gainward GF3 ti200... default temps are around 36C. Now I'm around 40C. RIGHT after running 3dmark2k1 I'm around 42 or 43. But these temps are after compensation is added and only on the outer edge of my GPU. The hsf is keeping the rest nice and cool but I don't know for sure HOW cool.

PS... my card is oc'd to 230/500 from a default of 175/400.

My idle Temps are 40C (edge temp) and 42C (surface temp) with the monitor off, I just came home and turned off the monitor and checked the temps. After a few minutes on the computer they have gone up to 41C (e.t.) and 44C (s.t.). THe ambient temp in my room is 24C (measured on MB) considering that I have no side panels on my PC. After about a 1 hour of playing DoD/half-life on OpenGL the e.t was 46C and s.t was 49C (with ambient at 27C). The only mod that I have done is increase the GPU to 200MHz.
Also the critical temp. on the display is set at 80C from the factory.
