maxi-jet and 1/2in tubing

i have a maxi-jet 1200 on 3/8in tubing, and that fits rite over the outlet of the pump, is there a way i can put 1/2in tubing on it?

anyone have this pump and done this?
i know bender has this pump but dont know waht he runs...

im gonna convert my system to 1/2 tubing when i make my new block...

I did that to mine. Except mine didn't have an outlet that you could clamp a hose on to. All it had was a hole that it shot water out of. So I superglued a 1/2" connector to it It's been working great. I'm sure you could do something similar, or maybe even widen the hole to 1/2" with a drill?

im gonna stick my pump in one of them electrical boxes and have it running the 1/2in tubing.... from that...

Go to home depot and get a 3/4"-1/2" barb and a 1/2"-1/2" barb. Get some epoxy and glue it on. It fit on that thing perfectly.

I'm using a 4x4x4 box with my Maxi-Jet. I have 3/8" barbs, the out on the pump is connected directly to a 3/8" hose. 1/2" would be just as easy if you use a reservoir.
