What is the maximum safest current that can be drawn from the fan headers on my Abit KT7A-RAID mobo?

TIA

Don't know yours, but I asked the same question on my MB (Asus Av7133) and it was suggested that I look in my manual. Sure enough it was there, if you don't have the manual you probably can get it off their website. Hope that helps, sorry I didn't have the exact answer.

I have a idea for ya. Look at the stats for a Delta Black Label Fan. I would suggest not going any higher of a draw then that. IF you get something more powerful use a molex 3 pin to 4 pin converter.

What is the wattage out put of the fan headers on the KT7/KT7-RAID . I would like to use a Global Win FOP- 38 Heat combo.this uses the Delta high speed (7000RPM)fan and draws 3.5 to 4 watts of power.

The fan headers on KT7/KT7-RAID can sustain 0.5A current (6 Watts )thus FOP32,FOP38 are oaky . Fan headers on the other ABIT's motherboards only sustain 0.3A current(3.6 Watts).

I run my Black Label Delta off my ABit KT7A mobo cpu fan header. Seems fine, rpm exactly same as 3-4 pin convertor draw. Another thing is mine is running like a mofo at almost 8krpm coz of dopplers.
