I was wondering what MB to buy. Im gonna pair it with an athlon 1.2 ghz and a GF 2 ultra. I am not looking for DDR or onboard stuff. O/Cing wise, im not sure if I will yet, but if I do, im not looking to "push the limit" at all. ThankS!

Well you are going to get a load of different answers to this one. What would help us is to know what it is that is important to you. That being said, if you want to overclock and you know it i would highly recommend the abit kt7a/e. If you want a very stable board that is inexpensive and easy to learn that gives you some overclocking capabilities the i would recommend the Asus A7V e. Well there's my two cents (ok ok 1 and 1/2 to be technical).

MSI K7T-Turbo (ms-6330). It has been rated by many websites as the best value for overclocking and stability. You can find them for about $100.00 right now.

I've got an ASUS A7V-E. A lot of people will dump on the fact that the FSB is limited to 117mhz instead of 133+ but if you aren't looking to break any speed records I've found my board to be rock solid in the stability department and its a good chunk cheaper than the rest of the ASUS A7V line. I'm not running around like a chicken with its head cut off looking for patches or updates so I suggest that you at least look into it but if money isn't a key factor then you'll probably find another board with more bells and whistles that is just as compotent.

good luck
