My MB(PVK7,Viakx133,AMI Bios) was dead one mourning when I woke up. It wouldn't bring the puter out of stand by, so I rebooted and it wouldn't boot any longer. I was running the FSB at 112 instead of 100. I know you can overheat a CPU, or video card but at 112? Plus I don't know if this made my MB fail or if it was coincidence. The last time I checked the temps they were fine. Did overclocking to 112 fry my MB? If anyone knows let me know.

I already exchanged it. I was asking because I want to run it back to 112 but I'm kinda scared to. That's why I want some 2nd opinions. I,myself thnk that it was just a bad board. When it happened the bios wouldn't even post. Like I said I wanna oc it again because the temps were fine and everything run fine. It just kicked the bucket sometime during the night.

You may want to do a standard 72 hour burn-in on you system un-O/C and at full cpu load. This is SOP for testing all new components. It weeds out the marginal pieces.
