I was goofing around with my Mother Board Monitor 5 today and was testing to be sure it would shut down if temps got too high. IT DIDNT !!! instead i get this message that pops up that goes something like "you have been using MBM5 for more then two weeks please register your copy bla bla bla send donations to my paypal account bla bla bla "

How am I suppose to get a registration code. I see no links on their site or in the program that sends me to the correct place to get one. Or do I have some weird hacked version of MBM5 where someone is trying to get a "donation" out of me ??? Help me out guys....I need my MBM to work.

thank You

*edit was so cheesed off i didn't spell check it

welp....after a few beers and goofing around with this problem some more i've discovered the messege is from Shut Down Now 4.5 asking for me to register it.. and that costs $20

I'm not paying for a program I can figure out how to make my self in VB. If worse comes to worse that's what i'll do. Worth my time and trouble and I don't have 20 bucks to throw away for a small piece of software I can get help writing my self.

Are there any other alternitives to shut down now that dosn't involve my wallet ??? everyone wants my money

yeah.. on the MBM page there is a section for other programs.. listed are programs like shutdown now and such. Well just under shutdown now there is a small program called "shutdown". it is a small EXE file that MBM can use to shut down the comp when your alarms go off. It is free and it works.
