>> MCAFEE - firewall Q's << help

Hello today I was on my computer and I noticed that my firewall has picked up some wierd IP's i clicked on get more info then :

-------------------------------------------

CP Connection Attempted on Protected Port

TransScout (port 7 of 7) (80/2005)

Your computer was scanned for this trojan by the source computer. However, your Personal Firewall successfully blocked the scan. The source computer gained no information about your machine.

-----------------------------

Another one i got is :

TCP Connection Attempted on Protected Port

Non-Standard Port

This port is not currently recorded as being associated with any standard assigned program or known exploit.

------------------------------------------

What does that mean, is that harmful?

This is just standard internet worm traffic, and your firewall is blocking some/most of it. Mcafee is garbage, but you should be alright. And the logs you see don't show that anything has gotten on your computer. That doesn't mean you aren't infected, but again, you should be ok here.
