the game was working fine. then I went to load up and my pc shut down. and now I cant get the game to even load up. it just gives me a black screen, or it crashes.

A friend of mine also cannot log into gamespy....

Do you have to have gamespy installed to play? Hope not cuz I wont install that garbage.

I just figured out the stupid Gamespy thing. It was making me create a new account every time even though I have an old one.

I tried so much crap I don't even know which thing fixed it, but I know you need to log in with your account in regualr Crysis, then in the upper right on the server screen, there's an 'account info' button you can click, enter the real account stuff, tell it to save/autologin, and then go try MWLL.

Game itself is more like an early alpha, at least judging by other betas I've played. Random pauses, tons of crashes, etc etc. I think they just 'released' this because they wanted to be considered for mod of the year 2009, even though it's a completely halfassed 'release.'

I was just playing on a friend's server for a long time, and then the game suddenly froze on me so i quit. I tried to reload the game, and My PC shut down.... and now When I try to run MWLL, the screen just stays black and if i press space, it closes and goes back to windows with no error message.....

Any news on bug fixes and crashes in win 7 64 bit?

Basically, they know there's a ton of crash bugs. Rumors abound, anything from sound to motion blur has been blamed. The head programmer basically said 'we know it crashes, we're trying our best to fix it.'

It's a shame, because the game is actually decent, if only it didn't crash every 15 minutes. Once they get that and the balance issues worked out, ...

I play under the name Gabkicks for everything. Uhh i was in my buddie's server called Subsniper, and I've been in rndm servers now.

Too bad I wasn't impressed with Crysis Warhead when I borrowed it from my brother. I loved MW2:Titanium when I had it back in the day, but I can't see buying Crysis [which I won't play] just for this It does look really nice though!

Figures. I'm visiting my girl for two weeks and I didn't think of bringing Crysis. Bah.

Gamspy is the big fail here. Can not login through either crysis or MWLL. Can create game just fine and run around in mechs by myself. What a steaming pile gamespy is.

Gamespy fix here and new HOTFIX available! http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/forum/index.php/topic,6492.0.html

#1 Created a new gamespy login at Gamespy.com (This may not be necessary)
#2 Make sure you can log in and out of this profile on gamespy.com, after checking it works log off of your account on gamespy
#3 Went in to regular Crysis (This is after everything was patched to 2.12 and mod was installed + working)
#4 Go to online multiplayer, click on create new account (this is in game)
#5 Enter the same information you did at gamespy.com (Same account name, Password, etc.)
#6 You then should be able to log in to mulitplayer on Crysis
#7 Close Crysis and open up MWLL
#8 Now try to log into MWLL multiplayer with the same information (if it doesnt work try the new account button and enter the same info)
#9 Play MWLL!

Alot more stable after the hotfix especially with Nvidia drivers. Finally got o run around in some heavys and dominate. Had an Awesome and got 5 kils with LRMs before even getting close to the action! Then got to more before getting gang raped by 4 scout mechs.

edit: Crashed about 5 minutes in while firing off a salvo of LRMs. Bleh.

Been a very stable day of gaming. Turning off resident shield for AVG is a must.

I'm loving the maps with the wide open areas. Let the LRMs rain!
