Wow, just played like 4 hours straight on the same server without a single crash. Big fun. I can't wait till they fix the AC2/5 so you can actually hit BA with them.. Other than that, heck yeah.

what settings did you use to have smooth gameplay?

i just have my i7 920 @ 3.36ghz and my 5850 @ stock speeds, though i think i may change it back to 900/1200.

I turned all the settings to very high, but some of them keep changing back to custom. also, i changed sound to low because i read that reduces crashes. I am @ 1680x1050 w/ no AA. Also, I disabled voice comms, because I read that can help with sound performance.

Actually it's on Steam today only as part of their holiday sale - $13.59 for Crysis Maximum Edition which includes both Crysis and Crysis Warhead.

Yup, just jumped on this. Main reason is of course this mod, but at $13 it's also a great deal.

I'm about to jump in, I think the server I prefer is CHH something or other, 32 player and usually a ping under 20ms. Name is Cuth.

I was just playing w cuth for like an hour and didnt have any crashes :) the elemental/battle armors are so annoying -_-.

I finally just crashed after almost 2 hours. Damn that game is fun, and it's only going to get better as they move towards full release.

How come when I pilot a madcat all of the weapons are defaulted to the left hotkey so I basically overheat in one shot and shut down? lol. Once you auto shut down is there a way to bring the mech back online after it cools off? I haven't figured that out yet, it just sits there dead in the water. Also is there a way to switch to third person view mode yet? The hotkey for that doesn't seem to work. I don't like fighting in third person but I just like to switch to it sometimes while I'm heading to the fight.

you can shift around hte weapons w/ the arrow keys and pressing enter. :p I almost feel like not telling u, cus i want more kills on teh battlefield :p

No third person as far as I know..

To set up your weapon tics, you use the arrow keys and enter. Move left and right to select which tic to modify, it will be highlighted in yellow. This is also the tic that will fire when you click the mouse button. The others can be fired by pressing their number. Move up and down and push enter to select which weapon to add or remove from that tic.

If you do shut down from overheating, hit P to start back up again.

Related, if you hit F to eject while the mech is online, it will blow all the head armor making you a very easy target if you get back in. First shut down the mech/tank/whatever with P, then use F to get out.

To repair, go back to one of the starting bays where the vehicles spawn, and hit P to shut down. You'll see your cbill total counting down, and when it stops, you are fully repaired.

Rearming can be done anywhere inside the hangar by pushing , to bring up the menu and going over to the ammo tab. You can auto-reload by pushing . but if your unit carries multiple ammo types, it will only buy one type to put in spare storage, if you have any. You'll see something like 'empty space' or 'unused tons' or something in the upper right. Mechs like the ArrowIV Catapult start with only (for example) 5 shots loaded but 2 free tons to store extra. Make sure you grab all you can carry/afford

This looks pretty interesting, but like a few others I'm a little hesitant to reinstall Crysis for this.

You already own Crysis and won't reinstall it to check out a totally free mod that's taken dozens (over 100 I think) of developers years to make?

Who else is hesitant to reinstall Crysis for MWLL??
