ok i havent been able to figure this out and its mega pissing me off.
I'll start off by saying its not sticky keys in windows or physically

every night i'll have an issue where an input sticks after i have let go.
for instance if i am moving in a game and i tap to step back and then go forward again, i'll be at a dead stop until let off of of the forward input and i start moving backwards but i am not pressing any movement keys

-or-

when i am playing a shooter and i'll shoot and reload like normal and then reload will stick and it reloads after every shot i take, just one.
every

damn

time

and it always happens when i am in an intense battle so i have no confidence like when is it going to happen... its a when not an if and its really really pissing me off.

i've searched and searched and the search engine results in their infinite wisdom always come back to sticky keys and its shut off and the keyboard is recent and clean.
i've had this happen with multiple input devices though. both XP and 10

keyboard is a corsair k70 pro and mouse is a Roccat kone XP pro

side note, some times caps lock gets turned on when i am not actually over there on my keyboard. i remap keys (i dont WASD)

I have the same issue with my K70 TKL. I have had to sometimes spawm my keys to get unstuck as you call it.

My guess is that its something with the micro-controller for the keyboard. I've had this issue in the past, but those were membrane type keyboards of the old era. Mechanical should never have this issue unless its a dieing switch. I doubt the switch is bad, but then again the keys have gotten softer over the past year.

It maybe the keyboard, I'm about ready to throw this thing against a wall and then let my dog have at it. This keyboard seems to have a very short lifespan.

I can't fit in with the trash talk of the youths today, I'm bringing back l33t sp3@|< as I can :)

Hmm, my K70 RGB TKL doesn't do any of that. I have 0-ring dampers on mine because I hate the noise. Have you tried cleaning it out?

I've swapped in my Das Keyboard and things feel better. I'm looking at Lemokey for long term replacement though, but not sure. I like the Das Keyboard but its a full size instead of TKL.

I know that old cheap keyboards had a "roll over" issue. Not issue but keys would sometimes share signal lines and therefore not every key pess would work if done too quickly. I don't think that this is that. Unless you have a really cheap keyboard.

I am leaning with the previously stated theory that the keyboard is wearing out. If you really like the keyboard and it has removable mechanical keys, you could replace a few/all.

Edit: I've had mice do this with the left click button. As the plastic nub wears down, the switch makes sporadic connection and therefore registers as multiple clicks. I've seen people fix that by taking the mouse shell off and building the little nub up with tape or paper or hot glue. Just get a new mouse already. ;) Similar thing could be happening to your keys if you press really hard or something.

Of course, the idea that the USB port may somehow be at fault is simple to test. When setting up new machines at work, I always like to use the USB ports designated for keyboard/mouse. Co-workers didn't subscribe to the same notion. My thought was always that some USB ports speak more directly with the CPU and have fewer interupt requests. I stay away from plugging the keyboard/mouse into USB 3.x for that reason. Less lag too. For keyboard/mouse, I suspect that "speed" is more in the form of reduced lag than how much data the port can send.

I'm not sure why you guys dislike Corsair for keyboards. I've had mine for a lot of years already and I like it very much. Use it nearly daily.

I only dislike Corsair mice (100% RMA rate, and I had 7 or 8) and the way their RGB works, as well as everything iCUE-related. Their PSUs and SSDs are pretty good.

Ahh yes...with simultaneous key presses, for sure. Years back they started advertising that "N-key rollover" thing.

I guess I shouldn't complain as they lasted just past their warranty term, but we've had 3x Corsair mice die in our house.
