Memorex DVD RW feedback please ASAP

i want a quick response because ill be passing by compusa on the way home from work shortly and may pick one of these puppies up......anyone know if they are rebadged drives and made by whom? otherwise general feedback on memorex drives if it isnt good i will wait and order the pioneer 106 online. thanks.

found out memorex dvd rw drives are all based off of the pioneer mechanism
