memory dump, can i disable it?

it should be the same as XP...right click on My Computer, choose Properties, go to the Advanced tab, click on System and Recovery, and choose the option not to dump mem in the debugging pull-down...or something similar

Yeah, it is. They aren't really readable except by Microsoft (you're supposed to send them away to Microsoft so they can analyze them. . . .I think), and just take up space on your HD ('specially if you're dumping all the RAM)
