So I see memset has a field for command rate. If I change to 1T and it's too much for my memory to handle, what are the risks? Simple crash, or Windows install corruption? Is it much safer to change it in BIOS and see if I can still boot?
I would only set the ram settings from the BIOS, not from a windows program. Then run Memtest before loading windows to reduce the risk of corrupting your windows install.
