I know exactly what you guys are saying,
but I feel like even though it is a mini ITX board, the i3 dual core with HT, 8GB of ram, dual rj45 ports will keep me content for a good while, until the next big thing comes out.

I had hoped that the SRT would of helped with webpages loads, or the like, but if the only thing it will help is the boot time, then i just wont get it.

and thanks for those links, but im not going to get that serious. I just want something to play with, im not trying to take over the world...yet.

and I think my expandability isnt too bad with what i picked. I can always upgrade the cpu or ram later, and i know im limited on how many drives I can attach, but if I need that much more, i might was well get a NAS.

It helps with anything that accesses the hard drive. Boot time is the biggest one, but any program that resides on the drive will see substantial improvements. For example, it takes over 4 minutes to log into WoW and actually get it to a playable state (still loading) with a WD Black. On my SSD, I can do a full login in about 30 seconds. It is an incredible difference.

If you think you can do without one, you haven't experienced the difference and gone back to how slow a mechanical drive is. You won't regret upgrading.

I guess in another day or two, this will be my build thread, since I ordered everything this morning.
