This only happens when I get WU 13456 from WS 54.157.202.86, any other WS's and WU's all works fine.

p.s. my RTX 2080 cards don't get this error.

Got nothing, only have 3000's running...must not be needed...and I take it this just started? Was it caused by a Windows update?

Running SFC didn't help?

Which visual studio's did you try? 2017?

I get this on any PC with a GTX 1080 card and WU 13456 running Win 7 and Win 10, the 2 RTX 2080's don't have any issues with core 0.0.13 and 0.0.14 with Win 10.

I hate to be the un-stick in the mud but, wouldn't the easiest solution be to use Win10, that way you know you're at least on the same page with msft with regard to requirements?

Win7 is only going to have more and more of these problems moving forward. And at that rate, use Linux.... :sn:

I have 8 PC's doing [email protected], 5 use win 10 and 3 use win 7
2 of the win 10 had the required MS VC files and so had no issues with the new core version 0.0.14.
The other 3 Win 10 PC's was not up to date on MS VC, that is why they failed. I did patch 1 but it has not pulled a 13456 yet.
Then of course the 3 Win 7 PC's also was not up to date as well.

Right now it seems a moot point as 13456 has not been seen, I think they pulled it till they get a workaround.

If and when I can get 3 RTX 3080 cards to put in my Intel systems (1000 years in the future :)) then I'll install Win 10 or what ever MS has out, Win 2314
