anyone take the plunge and try this puppy yet? i heard some interesting things about the new eazyshare feature (sharing live tv/recording capabilities with networked computers). might be cool to let the roommates watch tv in their rooms too :p

I just got my 9700AIW, so this is the first I've heard of MMC 8.8. What is it?

I'm gonna try this out tonight. My only concern is network bandwidth and cpu speed. One of my PCs has an 802.11b wireless card (11mbps max) and Eazyshare requires at least 10mbps. Also, the AIW card is in a PC with only a [email protected]
According to the MMC notes, the minimum server CPU is PIII 933MHz, the recommended server CPU is P4 1.6 GHz

I dont have an AIW card, but i'll say this: I do love MMC. I use it for all me media player needs (except MP3's...use Winamp 5 for that)
