I believe I'm in the market for more RAM (currently have 32GB), want 128 (yes I know overkill)

Uses (in no real order)

- Game (I think i've seen some games suggest 16-32 GB of RAM)
- Virtual Machine

When would I buy: I'd try to buy before the start of Feb next year, I'd hope.

Also would I be able to populate and use the other two NVME slots on the motherboard?

Specs:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
Storage: Samsung 990 Pro w/Heatsink 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

Yes the title is a slight tease of starcraft....

RAM - 96GB is a much better option performance and stability wise, and I wouldn't even try to get more for AMD
6000 is good enough, and 6400 would be better, but it's not guaranteed it will work at a 1:1 ratio, and you want a 1:1 ratio. If it won't work, then you can set it to 6200 or 6000. The price difference isn't big.

CPU - I would wait until 9800X3D will be easier available. Then prices will drop, too. More of them are expected to be in stores in 3-4 weeks.

SSD - since the motherboard has heatsinks then get one without a heatsink. I have no idea if Samsung puts warranty stickers on them, but some other brands do, so when you remove the heatsink then you lose warranty.
I like the Crucial T500. It's a bit faster, runs cool, and is a bit cheaper - https://www.newegg.com/crucial-2tb-t500-nvme/p/N82E16820156389

GFX card - I wouldn't get RX7800XT right now. Soon, the new AMD generation, new Nvidia, and recently released Intel B580 cards will be available. Intel seems like a perfect option for budget gaming. Intel reference card should be in stores soon for about $250.

Solid choice on the case. Note that the 7 series chips run hot, so you're going to need a whole lotta airflow, especially when gaming. You can also do better on the psu front: I'd go Super Flower or Seasonic. An 850 watt would be the perfect medium. 750w is like the bare minimum nowadays.

.....and yes, I, personally, dislike Corsair.

Um, I think @dlf already has the system in his post. I'm reading that he just wants moar RAM and a couple of M.2 NVME drives.

I agree with Woomack's 2x48GB suggestions for RAM.
Are the additional M.2 slots gen 4 or gen 5? If they are gen 4, imho you can't go wrong with the WD SN850x.

I think theres on gen 5 nvme slot on the board and the other two are gen 4. and yes I already built the system

PCIe 5.0 SSDs look good in some tests, but they're barely faster in daily usage. PCIe 4.0 SSDs are also cheaper and run cooler, so most don't have overheating problems.
I have multiple PCIe 5.0 SSDs only because they were review samples. I wouldn't buy any of them over the high PCIe 4.0 series for my daily/gaming PC. If you need more space, Samsung 990 Pro, Crucial T500, or WD SN850X are good options.
