MoBo review

HAs anyone read the review of various motherboards at the URL below?

I'm a little disappointed at how the Shuttle AK31 came out since that's the MoBo I was considering buying in a few days.

Any thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated before I make a purchase.

If you notice, the article was written using the outdated Shuttle AK31 Rev-2.0, and not the Rev-3.1, which is what's available now.

This make a huge difference, as the Rev-2.0 uses the KT266 chipset, and the Rev-3.1 uses the KT266A chipset. There was a major improvement in memory handling in the "A" chipset, as well as fixing some other problems.

I've had 3 Shuttle AK's, and they have all been great boards.

Awsome overclocking, rock solid stability, cheap!

I have to absolutley agree with the Doc....I have 2 AK31 r3.1's and they are GREAT boards for a GREAT price!..cant go wrong with the AK31 r3.1
