Monitor Advice

Hey guys my sister is a graphic artist/designer...I want to buy her 20 or 21 inch monitor for her birthday and want to know who makes the absolute best monitors for graphics professionals... I am trying to stay below $1,000.00 dollars if possible...I will be used with a NEC C900 in a dual monitor setup...

If you can afford it, sony screens are really very sharp!

I had a huge problem with my KDS. A month later I got a refund and now I'm very happy with my new NEC.

I saw a new NEC 18" LCD and it got amazing reviews, although it costs $1,000. Its the best monitor out, i think.

Viewsonic are very popular with the design crowd as are the Sony's. Either one you'll be very happy with. Personally my wife uses a Viewsonic on her G4 and she loves it.
