Im trying to plan how to install my 4 Sunon case fans in my new Antec 1030 case...The Sunon fans are model#KD1208PTB2 with a 4-pin molex plug so I can power them trhough my PSU. However, I still want to monitor them through the MB if possible.

I bought some 3-4 pin adapters from Directron but not sure if this is what I need since I heard that to monitor a fan it needs 3 wires from the fan and the Sunons only have 2 red/black!

Any advise....

From what I understand, fans need to be monitered through the Mobo. and if you plug a "Power Sucking Honker" into the fan header on the mobo, you'll burn out the header.

Good Luck.
