* I asked this 1st Question in another POST BUT would like more input  I just Bought a EVGA RTX-2080 Ultra FTW3 (8GB) for gaming (COD II, III, IV, Ect Ect) and would like to upgrade my Monitor from a 27” 1080p. I can get a ~ 32” <-> 34” 1440p Monitor for less than $300 BUT FOR this same price I can get a 4k 43” TV. What is the recommended option??
* MY MAIN Question - Which ever option I choose, I would like to have it shipped from Best Buy. Is this a good option OR should I buy it and do a pick up?? The Store is ~ 50 miles & 45 <-> 60 minutes away.

Thank You For Your Time

I use a 50" LG 4K UHD TV as a monitor, and I sit about 8 feet away. I like it. A desk would be nice sometimes, but you cant lay down at your desk at watch youtube lol..

As for pick up or delivery.. either should be fine, they are packed well.

As far as the device itself... the main factor to consider is the refresh rate.

For example: My 4K TV can only do 60fps while both my PlayStation, Xbox, and of course PC can all do 120fps or higher.

Also... the size difference might SEEM small... but it's actually gigantic.

For instance, my TV is in the living room... which means most of the time I can't use it as my wife generally works out of the living room.

If it were a little 32 inch monitor... I could just put that anywhere. I could move the computer and monitor in here while she's working.

Not so with my bigass 4K TV.

As for whether you should have it delivered or pick it up... well... that depends on what type of person you are.

You see... my SOUL CRIES OUT FOR VENGEANCE... and waiting for delivery people who may or may not show up has been my own personal hell.

Maybe you're a more patient and lower blood-pressured person than I am.

Maybe you've never yelled at a blind man on a bus before...

Either way... You might be okay just waiting for the delivery man to come.

I would already be ACTIVELY trying to get that guy fired.

So no... I think I'd have to go pick it up. (And woeeeeee unto the store manager if the price isn't the same as advertised...)

Personally, I would pick up the monitor at BestBuy. But, I would also see if there's anything else in the area that could add a little extra justification to the two hour long road trip.

I just bought a TV from Best Buy and delivery and setup were free. 150lbs in my case. I'm happy to pay to have that installed.

I thought there were reasons not to game on a TV but I've never been a high refresh rate type of guy. I wouldn't know the difference. Besides, I mostly play strategy games so high frame rates are of no value to those games.

I will play games on my new TV and have nothing but high expectations even if I don't know what to look for.
