4090 @ 2560x1440, ULtra, DLSS and MFG disabled.

Holy cow the 9070 XT is close to the 4090 in this benchmark... AMD game????

EDIT: I left this benchmark 'on' all night. That shader compile took forever (literally 5 mins).... forgot about it, and fell asleep.

When I drop an image in (click and drag), or use the attach function, it drops the fullsize in, but at the bottom is a small image with "insert...". If I click on that, it gives the option.

It is quite heavy on CPU too so that might narrow the gap.
A 13900K is a few % faster (on average) in 1440 gaming than 5800x3d, so that's not it.

A 4090 is ~30% faster at 2560x1440 (TPU)... this shows ~6% by FPS. Feels title specific (like Far Cry / Read AMD Sponsored), but no clue.

EDIT: Yep.....AMD title - https://www.amd.com/en/gaming/featured-games/monster-hunter-wilds.html#:~:text=AMD Ryzen™ and Radeon,cards or AMD configured systems.

EDIT2: ...or we're running different settings, lol.

I am glad to see my older platform (PCIe gen4, DDR4) doesn't seem to be holding this new card back. :)
I'm happy with my card so far.

I'll post some scores with the 9800x3d and 5080 at 4k. Any particular settings anyone is interested in? With/without dlss and frame Gen?

True, although running at 1080p is almost cheating 🤣 but would definitely be playable with your hardware if that's your res with no real need to upgrade to new hardware if you aren't changing display resolution.
Actually I play @ 1440 with maxed out eye candy. For some reason I can't seem to change the res in it. Doesn't allow it unless I'm missing something?

*Edit* Ran it again with everything maxed out. Still will not allow me to change res. >sigh< 1080p

Ahh, might be because I'm not using a traditional monitor. I'm using a 42" TV as my monitor. Probably reading the native res and it's locked on that which is 1080p.
I play everything @ 1440 tho.

Yeah probably limited to the native resolution of the screen and not letting you go above it which makes sense

Seems to be fps capped at 125fps for me, but I don't see any way to adjust.

benchmark large.jpg

Found I had fps capped in RivaTuner.

FG on - uncapped.jpg No FG - uncapped.jpg

Guessing any comparison is meaningless unless run at default...manipulating settings allows for most any score you desire lol.
