Well here’s my two cents. I like Asus mobos (I have the a7v 133 and 266), Creative sound cards (X-gamer is my fav), I have Creative dvd and a cd-rw drives right now, but I’m going to be getting a Pioneer dvd and a Plextor cd-rw soon (they seem to me to be the best ones out there now) Western Digital hard drives are the best. :p I have three of them and they are great. And get a good 400w psu like an Antec or Sparkle. Oh, and AMD rocks!!:D :D

For overclocking, go for a KT266A mobo like the Epox 8KHA+ and some good branded DDR333 PC2700 DDR RAM like Crucial or Kingston.

You could try the new kt333 chipset. Soltek makes one of those. Defintely DDR and if you have the cash for a GF4 TI4600 get it but you can get a GF3 Ti200 or 500 for much less and there still great cards. Theres also the Radeon 8500.

I would wait till the second revision - KT333A. The new chipsets will have all the bugs in them still. I'd go KT266A or wait for KT333A. Or go with an AMD or SiS solution.
