um i run my 1600+ @ locked and 177 fsb and i get errors galore and i had to reinstall win2 in only like after a couple hours of use and booting several times, i dont think its my ram and i had my [email protected], am i just pushing my hdd to far? if so, thats lame!
or is it cpu stability?
man i want locked pci's and such!
(oh it runs fine at 166)
thanx,

having a CPU running @ 1860MHz isn't something bad, I think its the CPU which is "limiting" your overclock. No 1400MHz stock chip is promised to run at any speeds higher than 1400... You got yours to 1860, I think, unless you unlock and continue upping the FSB you won't get any higher, unless you throw more vcore on the chip or at least increase your cooling which might help you gain a few more MHz

I read somewhere around here that you shouldn't run your pci @ more than about 38/39mhz. with a 1/4 divisor you'll be hitting about 44mhz @ 177fsb(177/4), so wind it down a bit and unlock your cpu. etc. etc.
