Motheboard "Full mods"

I'm sorry to ask such a stupid question, but i was wondering what exactly it means when people say then sent in their motherboard for "full mods" and such. And where can I possibly do this with mine?

Hmmm.. I don't understand what you mean by motherboards. Are you talking about the physical motherboard itself? If so then they are most likely talking about putting heatsink and such on their power regulators and chipsets. They could also be talking about a volt mod. If you are not talking about the hardware then the only thing I can think of is messing with the tray. If you can give me an example where someon has said this I could help you out a little more
