Im planing on putting some barebone AMD stuff into my intel Celeron computer. Was looking for a good Motherboard and what cpu I should get for it. My current system is a Celeron [email protected] with a GeForce3 Ti200. Is this a good idea moving to AMD. Im mostly doing it because of thre cheaper prices and good performance. Well Any help is good thank you.

well there is no good motherboard that supports both SDRAM and DDR (i think ALi does but those are slow as hell) so here is what i recommend for your system:

AMD Athlon XP 1600+ =$58 at newegg (or you can buy it off me on ebay if you click my www link)
Abit KX7-333= $78 at www.mwave.com

256mb Samsung PC2700= $83 at newegg

total is $220
