Not sure when exactly or how much they will cost, but I think they'll be expensive. It doesn't help that only 20 of them are being provided per one reseller. Of course, I guess there's always the XP to MP option

I dont think there will be a problem with availability with this CPU. The MP´s is a hard-to-sell item after what it seems. Check in-stock numbers over time with on-line retailers for the MP2100 and MP2200, they dont change that much. Ans why would they, since all that differs an XP from being an MP is exactly one little dot of silver paint. One $8 jar of silver paint already saved me $200

I guess your right about availability. Maybe they are only providing 20 per reseller due to the fact that there are only not that many people that buy MP's. They instead do the MP to XP trick. Still 20 per reseller seems kind of stingy to me , or maybe that keeps the price up? Oh well, I can't figure it out, nm
