MS Publisher question

This is driving me nuts. I'm trying to do some line drawing stuff but it won't give me the degree of control I want when placing lines and boxes. It's 'snapping' them to the nearest 1/8" on the ruler. Is there some obvious setting I'm missing to give me pixel-precise control over placement of objects?
