I just got the above yesterday, and the combo seems to work fine together. Now, I would like to try overclocking, as I bought a SVC copperheatsink with the new ystech 40cfm fan. at stock settings idle the computer processor is running about 95 degrees fahrenheit. The problem is, i cannot change the bus speed to 133mhz to run at 1ghz. I used the jumper on the motherboard and set it to 133mhz operation, but when I do that the computer wont even post, i have to revert back to 100mhz setting for it to even start. I do not want to join the L1 bridges if I dont have to. I just want to overclock using the FSB speed, rather than changing the multiplier. Is this possible?

can you tell us a bit more about your system, such as what RAM you have is it PC100 or PC133 what voltage you are trying etc and the tempratures in degrees

I have 256meg of kingston pc133 ram. I am trying 1.85v. Temperature in degrees C is less than 40. Perhaps i just have a really crappy cpu, as the computer wont even post? I didnt think AMD has FSB locked their processors have they?

Short answer - no.
Long answer - if you want to run at 266FSB then you will have to unlock the L7s to enable post at 1.85V. This board is a bit peculiar and in order to change multipliers after unlocking the L1s then you need to follow a power off routine to get it to work.
