MSI K7T Turbo BIOS: built-in 4-way memory interleave function????

I just upgraded the BIOS for my MSI K7T Turbo. There seems to be an improvement described as 'built-in 4-way memory interleave function' .

Is there anyone who could explain to me what this means exactly?

Basically it just improves performance - so set it to enabled. I don't know whether this feature wasn't available at all in the old bios, or whether it's now automatically enabled - but that's what it does. So now you know
