if you're going to overclock your cpu, then the k7tpro 2-a isn't the best choice, because you can't get a high FSB with that mobo. It has he older via kt133 chipset, and you should get a mobo that comes with something newer, like the kt133a or kt133e chipset.
 
I actually like this board not so much for the overclocking but for the stability, to run a Duron on though would be a waste, this board is more for the mid to high end Thunderbirds but is a good buy for the features it has, there is a special tweeking BIOS for it on MSI's web site but its still not very usefull, although this board will overclock it may not do it as high as you want but it will stay very stable when you do achive its maximum speed.
 
I agree my K7tPro2A is very stable.I`m running a 1gig tbird I bought 2 hours ago at 1166 with no problems yet.My old 850 bird was running stable at 1026 for 1 month.Fuzzy logic is a good tool to start your overclocking with imho
